Call for Organization Profile of Eastern Nepal

Youth Development Center (YDC) is going to develop the roster of social organization active in different sector in eastern region of Nepal. These organizations could be the NGO, INGO, CBO, Club, Cooperative, Interest Group, User Group, Network, etc active from all the district of eastern region.

Food, accommodation and other required services are available at Itahari for study visit team of student & social worker in reasonable service charge. Documentary show and camp fire could manage if needed.

Call for Profile of Organization from Eastern Nepal

Youth Development Center (YDC) is going to develop the roster of social organization active in different sector in eastern region of Nepal. These organizations could be the NGO, INGO, CBO, Club, Cooperative, Interest Group, User Group, Branch of Organization, Network, etc active from all the district of eastern region. It is going to publish the short profile of these organizations in website of YDC (www.youthdevcenter.com.np) on the basis of district and type very soon. YDC will send the form for organization profile on your request by e-mail or call. This form can fill up in English or Nepali language.

YDC hope that this action will facilitate to develop the network, cooperation and collaboration in eastern Nepal for effective social movement. Service for Study Visit Team (Student & Social Worker) & Training Center

Youth Development Center provides food, accommodation and other required facilities for study visit team of student and social worker in reasonable price at Itahari. It is one service of Training Center of Youth Development Center among the various services. It is suitable for the study visit team to eastern Nepal and east-north part of India who cross the Itahari during their visit. Itahari is the beautiful green city situated by the east-west highway at the central location of eastern region. Now, it is popular for the shopping market. Facilities are-
Accommodation
YDC has accommodation facilities for 40 people in the next building to the program hall within the same compound. YDC can accommodate the other more 30 person for study visit team of student and social worker if needed.
Kitchen and Dining
Food service is provided as contract from the dining hall near by the program hall within the same building.
Program (Training) Hall
YDC has a well fascinate training hall for training, workshop and conference. It has the capacity for 40 persons in round table placement and 100 persons in open chair placement.
Parking
There is enough space inside the YDC compound for parking the car, bike and by-cycle.
Security
Program hall, food service, accommodation and other necessary services are managed with in the same closed compound.
Other Services
LCD, OHP, TV, DVD, computer, phone, internet, printing, photocopy, stationery, etc.
There is a sufficient parking facility, open area with terrace and garden in its cool and calm environment. In the whole, it has a well managed, sound environment.

Charge for Facilities and Services:
Quotation will be provided as per request. So, if you are fascinated its services, you can directly visit, call or email for more information and quotation at Itahari, Kathmandu or Nepalgunj office.

Training Center at Itahari
Youth Development Center has Training Center at Itahari. It has program hall, food, accommodation and required services like LCD, OHP, TV, DVD, video camera, computer, phone, internet, printing and photocopy, stationery and more facilities are available in rent in its own premises at Itahari.

-It organize trainings and workshop in collaboration with likeminded organization

Website Designing Consultation

Youth Development Center (YDC) has offered website designing consultation of any type of socially active organization from all over the Nepal. These organizations could be the NGO, INGO, CBO, Club, Cooperative, Interest Group, User Group, Network, etc. We realize that socially active organizations are feeling the difficulty to publish the website due to different reason. In most of the cases, people of organization does not have idea about the website designing, could not suggest the suitable format for organization, could not develop the applicable documents for website, etc. On the other hand, web designer does not have enough idea about the social organization, could not suggest the suitable website for organization. So, this consultation will give the effective services to social organization for website designing and update. Coordination
-Coordinate with client, consultant and designer through out the service period.
-Collect the documents and pictures from client and follow up to consultant and designer.

Website Development Consultant
-Suggest the suitable format of website for organization by consulting the concern people of organization and studying status of organization.
-Support to prepare organization profile if necessary.
-All the document preparation in Nepali or÷and English language for website.

Website Designing
-Give three different designs to choose according to discussion among designer, consultant and organization.
-Update three times to finalized website after offering the front page.
-Update four more times within one year.

Youth Facilitator Training (YFT)

Course Introduction
Youth being the power of present and future of nation who are responsible for society. For this they should be capable to lead social, economic and political sectors from every aspect. This training is design to train youth facilitator who could train socially, economically and politically active youth is society. Youth Facilitator Training is targeting for youth to make capable them to train youth from different community.

Objective
· To make youth capable to facilitate community level to national level training in social issues.
· To develop training curriculum of social issues for youth empowerment.

Key Topic
Youth Issues-Youth, issues, rights and policy of youth, migration, human trafficking, hIV, sexuality, Reproductive Health and Rights (RHR), Employment, Entrepreneurship and Resource Management
Youth Development-Goal setting, leadership, effective publish speaking (EPS), time management, motivation, team work
National Issues-Human Rights, Democracy, Diversity and Social Inclusion, Autonomy, Federalism, Resource Distribution, Gender and Women Rights, Community Development and Sustainability
Issues for Refresher Training-Climate change, carbon trade, peace, environment, public policy, social audit, report and proposal writing, organization development, public advocacy

Process and Learning Tools
Day 01 Introduction-Introduction about participants, course contents, schedule and objective.
Day 01-05 Course focused issues-Facilitation by facilitators, paper presentation by scholar, personal sharing by experienced community worker.
Day 06 Self Study-Provides books, documents and electronic copy to participants on the basis of topic chosen by them.
Day 07-10 Facilitation and Curriculum Development Skill-Train by facilitator on facilitation and curriculum development skill, participants will present facilitation and curriculum development skills practically.
Day 11-12 Curriculum Development and Presentation-Develop curriculum by participants individually on course focused issues, present it and get feedback.
Day 12 Feedback, Closing-Feedback among participants, by organizer and to organizer.

What after Training?
A group of resource person will form among interested (no compulsion for all) participants of this training. The courses develop by participants will implemented for youth. They will be facilitator for training and camp organized by Youth Development Center. They will also mobilized to facilitate training and camp as per requested of the course and participants level of other organizations. They will be empowering gradually and intensely on their issue of interest. There will be refresher training three months after this course. Participants for refresher training will get opportunity to facilitate at least five days training before the refresher training .

To whom this Course is Useful?
The expected participants are youth who are interested to enhance facilitation skills on different issues between 18-30 age groups. There will be altogether 32 participants.

Registration Fee: RS 15,000/- (Should pay only after selection which includes food, accommodation, transportation to and from the venue, first aid services, tea/coffee, stationery, courseware, certificate, etc.)
